Preparation
To be on the safe side, duplicate your tubes and image in your Psp :
-
Window / Duplicate
- Close the originals and work with the copies !
- Place the selection in the selection folder of your Psp files.
- Place the pattern in the pattern folder of your Psp files unless you already have it in your Corel folders !
- Open the fonts outside your Psp if you have Windows Xp or place them in the Font folder of Windows if you have Win7.

PREAMBLE
Before you start making your own interpretation of my tag, you must know that it is important to choose pictures that have the same proportions as my selections !
Otherwise, your pictures will be distorted and that won't be nice !!!!
*********************
1 - Open a transparent image of 850 by 700 pixels.
- Select all.
2 - Open the image "Fairymist_Happy_New_year_Bkg", in your Psp and copy it.
3 - Paste it INTO THE SELECTION.
- Deselect all.
4- Effects / Plugins / XE Xtras elemental as below :
- Choose Fire / WilloWisp.
- If you have a problem with that filter, you can use my second background on which I have applied that filter !
5- Adjust / Blur / Gaussian blur at 40.
6- If you wish to change the colours of my background , you can use the effect "Hue map" of Adjust / Hue and Saturation that will keep several colours.
If you colorize it, you will just get one colour in the end !
- Move the cursors of the blue tints as shown below.
7- ADD A NEW RASTER LAYER.
6- Set your Material palette with a pattern of your choice in your foreground, as shown below.
- I have chosen the pattern "Corel_08_046", set as below :
7- With your flood fill tool, flood fill your new transparent layer with this foreground pattern.
- I have set the mode of that layer on to Multiply and lowered its opacity at 35.
9- Optionnal : (according to the pattern you have chosen) : For me : Effects / Edge effects / Enhance.
10- ADD A NEW RASTER LAYER.
11- Selections / Load a selection / from disk / Choose "Fairymist_Happy_New_year" and set it as below :
12- Set your Material palette with white in your foreground instead of the pattern.
13- With your flood fill tool, set as below,
flood fill the selection in white (the 3 rectangles and the square) on your new transparent layer.
14- Activate your magic wand, set as below.
- Right click on your tag to deselect it.
- Then , left click on the white rectangle that is on the top left hand side of your tag to select it.
15- Selections / Modify / Contract by 1 pixel.
16- ADD A NEW RASTER LAYER.
17- Open the image "Snowman" in your Psp and copy it.
18- Paste it INTO THE SELECTION, on your new layer.
19- Activate raster 3 (on which you have your 3 rectangles and the square you have painted in white)
- Right click on your tag to deselect it.
- Left click on the white square that is on the top right hand side of your tag to select it.
19- Selections / Modify / Contract by 1 pixel.
20- ADD A NEW RASTER LAYER.
21- Open the image "Fleurs"in your Psp and copy it.
22- Paste it INTO THE SELECTION, on your new layer.
- I have lowered the opacity of that layer at 85.
23- Activate raster 3.
- Right click on your tag to deselect it.
- Left click on the white rectangle that is on the bottom left hand side of your tag to select it.
24- Selections / Modify / Contract by 1 pixel.
25- ADD A NEW RASTER LAYER.
26- Open the image "Boules"in your Psp and copy it.
27- Paste it INTO THE SELECTION, on your new layer.
28- Activate raster 3.
- Right click on your tag to deselect it.
- Left click on the white rectangle that is on the bottom right hand side of your tag to select it.
29- Selections / Modify / Contract by 1 pixel.
30- ADD A NEW RASTER LAYER.
31- Open the tube "kikirou1741" or a tube of your choice, in your Psp and copy it.
32- Paste it INTO THE SELECTION, on your new layer.
Keep selection !!!
34- Activate raster 3.
- Hit the delete key of your keyboard.
- Deselect all.
35- Activate the layer on top of the pile.
- Here are my layers :
36- Set your Material palette as below :
- Foreground : White.
Background : colour of your choice : Blue 3c66b7 for me.
37- Activate your text tool and set is as below with the font BibiNehruSH, size 150 (or use another font if you wish !).
- Write down 2014.
- Apply your writing and convert your vectorial layer to a raster one.
- Place as on my tag.
- I have set the mode of that layer on to Difference and lowered its opacity at 23.
38- Set your Material palette as below :
- I have swapped my background and foreground colours and closed my foreground :
39- Activate your text tool and set is as below with the font BermudaLP, size 100 (or use another font!).
- Write down the word HAPPY in capital letters.
- Apply your writing and convert your vectorial layer to a raster one.
- Place as on my tag.
40- Set your Material palette as below :
- I have put a dark colour in background : Blue 000826 for me.
41- Activate your text tool and set is as below with the font Better off 1, size 100.
- Write down the word New Year.
- Apply your writing and convert your vectorial layer to a raster one.
- Place as on my tag.
42- Apply your signature
- Make sure everything is in the right place
43 - Image / add some symmetrical borders of 50 pixels with a colour of your choice :
- White for me.
44- Open the tube "ruban" or a decorative tube of your choice, in your Psp and copy it.
45- Paste it as a new layer on to your tag.
- Place it like me or to your liking.
46- Effects / 3d effects / drop shadow of your choice / - 4, 4, 35, 10, black.
47- Image / add some symmetrical borders of 1 pixel with a colour of your choice :
Dark blue for me.
42 - Save your work as a jpeg file.
